The former leader of the Proud Boys far-right group in the United States is due to be sentenced for his role in the Capitol riot on January 6, 2021.
Enrique Tarrio was convicted of seditious conspiracy and other charges.
Federal prosecutors had asked for the 39-year-old to spend more than three decades in prison, describing him as the ringleader of a plot to use violence to overturn the 2020 election victory by Joe Biden over Donald Trump.
Last week, another far-right Proud Boys leader was sentenced to 18 years in prison.
