Toronto Police responded on Sunday for a vehicle theft in the Broadview Ave.-Erindale Ave. area.

They say at some point in time between 8:20 p.m. and 8:50 p.m., an unknown suspect broke into the vehicle and removed the dog and crate before fleeing in an unknown direction.
The dog is described as a seven-year-old Toy Poodle, brown in colour, and named Pinot. Pinot was wearing an orange collar with a flower charm and a pink harness and was in a black soft carrier crate.
